Also we are very pleased to announce we would also very much like to work with the other four short listed individuals and we will be in touch soon to discuss this, well done!

Feedback Judge 1 Captures the essence of these difficult times, locking out the greenery with harsh strong gates. Area closed makes it the good front cover for a private thoughts notebook or for writing down your isolation experiences.
Judge 2 I chose this one because I think it displays Covid 19 really well, even this beautiful open air space was off limits! I really like the composition of the photo and the contrast of the lovely green space and the heavy walls and gate. It would also look good on the front of a notebook 'Area Closed' is like Keep out on the front of some diaries.
Judge 3 Area closed – symbolic of the times, but hints at wider accessibility issues (set of stairs with no ramp just as effective as a locked gate…)
Judge 4 Very currently and relevant to the competition brief. The red sign looks good on the harsh gate and you can see the greenery but not get there. Well composed and shows the times we live in well, a piece of history!
2 This entry was by Natalie Appleby

Judge 1 Great composition, much a wonderful mix of bright happy colours. Shows how beautiful nature can be and how much we should appreciate it. Also like the bike wheel after all everyone was told they could during this difficult time go out for exercise and many have done this more such as using bikes or walking.
Judge 2 I love this one because of all the different Flora, the bike wheel in the background and the lovely bark on the tree. I like the composition of the image and think the lighting is really pretty. A lovely picture that im sure a lot of people would enjoy and so I think it is marketable.
Judge 3 good photography
Judge 4 stunning colours, simple lovely

I like the colours but also the darkness of the wood to show both Covid 19 but also the colours of the future.

Judge 1 Abstract and original art, focused on the local and inspired by maps at a time when we are all spending time local and the mini buildings like homes make me think of our isolation. Very well done. I want to know more, where is the map. (What location?)
Judge 2 I like this one because it is quite abstract and modern... and you can see someone has put care into drawing it. It is also reminds me of a relaxation, because of the small dwellings in the middle surrounded by busy quietness.
Judge 3 Map sketch – arty, lends itself well to printing on tote bags etc?
Judge 4 Clever and original. Individual has clearly spent time and focus on this and it has come out well. Would be nice to work with this individual to find out more about the location and build the story.

‘Modern and relevant at a time we all must stay at home. All roads lead somewhere. A thoughtful piece of art I would like on my wall’.

Judge 1 original, confident, relevant, well presented and explained, interesting to learn about isolation experiences and work experience. Would be great to work on some more. Introduction also has great music. Good digital skills and communication skills.
